Chesil Edge Cleaning Services was founded by Nicola Leedham in May 2020, following redundancy at a well loved job after 20+ years service. The company was set up during the Covid-19 pandemic, but Nicola didn't let that stop her from building her very own business and of course what better time than during lock down, with little else to do, there was plenty of time to plan, organise & order everything required to get Chesil Edge off to a flying start within just 3 weeks.
Fast, efficient, and honest, Chesil Edge Cleaning Service has become a reputable and well-known Cleaning Service around Weymouth and Portland. Our team is up for every job, managing each project with the skill and experience our clients have come to know and love.
Our staff all have Covid-19 training accreditation; which offers you assurance on our exceptional standard through the cleaning process.

Health Checks
We speak with all staff before every shift to ensure they are showing no symptom, nor are they living with anyone who is showing symptoms, or has within the last 14 days.

PPE
We wash & sanitise our hands following WHO guidelines before starting & at regular intervals throughout the clean. Face Masks and gloves can be worn throughout the cleans if required.

Extra Care
We fully disinfect and sanitise all surfaces as requested, whilst paying a little extra attention to all of the frequently touched areas, such as door handles & light switches.

Finishing Touches
Upon exiting your property we ensure we sanitise the door handle, switches & locks following their final use by our teams.

We offer end of tenancy cleans, to help ensure you leave it in a suitable way before returning your keys. If you've just finished building, renovating or even just decorating your house; then let us help with the aftermath, whilst you put your feet up!
We are able to offer a carpet cleaning service as part of our deep cleans, for those extra tough stains!
We can even pay you a visit just to give one specific area a big deep clean - such as your oven, or even the shower cubicle.

At Chesil Edge our team will do all they can to ensure your holiday home makes the right first impression and creates the perfect home from home for your visitors.
Whether it's a mid holiday linen change and waste removal, a weekly changeover including removing any leftover items from previous guests or even an end of season deep clean - we can cater our cleans to your exact requirements.
We also offer a bespoke Welcome Package that can be adapted to each specific holiday, containing all of your holiday essentials.
FOGGING
Sanitisation & Infection Control
With the Coronavirus crisis still impacting us in all walks of life, we can now offer a disinfectant fogging service.
Fogging, as the name suggests, involves using a fogging machine to spray disinfectant creating what looks like a fog. This is a very effective way to ensure that a high level of surfaces are all disinfected; this is great for using in those hard to reach, and often missed areas.
This can be done as part of our standard cleans; available for all domestic properties, commercial businesses or holiday lets.
